Hybrid
Breast Augmentation
Up to now, patients have mostly been limited to the choice of silicone implant or autologous fat grafting when deciding which form of breast augmentation they prefer. However, we have recently succeeded in combining these two essential procedures for breast augmentation through continuous improvements in surgical techniques and material optimization. More specifically, the combination of autologous fat transplantation with the use of state-of-the-art silicone implants. This makes it possible to use the respective advantages of the corresponding processes and to compensate for any minor weaknesses for the first time. This means you can have the best of both worlds, so to speak.

-General Information about
Hybrid Breast Augmentation
You will find the most important information about hybrid breast enlargement here. The combination of the two most common methods of breast augmentation (breast augmentation with silicone implants and breast augmentation with autologous fat) has several advantages, which will be discussed in more detail below. In addition, you have the opportunity to find out about the course of the operation, which differs from traditional procedures. Information on costs also plays a role in the decision to have surgery, but should not be the decisive factor. Quality in work and materials has its price and makes the hybrid breast enlargement a long term investment in your good looks.
Testimonials
After a long search I finally found the surgeon I trust! I have a complicated story about Prof. Dr. medical Sinis come. He encouraged me, but was honest with me at the same time.
Procedure & Advantages
In contrast to normal breast augmentation with silicone implants, hybrid breast augmentation involves considerably more time for the surgeon to complete. It also requires a correspondingly high level of skill and experience, which can be offered by our plastic or cosmetic surgeons. Firstly, a silicone implant is positioned behind the breast muscle using a microsurgical technique. As with every operation we perform, this is done under the condition of minimally invasive procedures and the best possible avoidance of stress for the patient. After the implant has been inserted, the ‘refinement’ that is decisive for hybrid augmentation now takes place.
Using a modified version of the ‘Coleman technique’, autologous fat is extracted from one or two regions of the body by liposuction. The fat cells are then centrifuged, purified and filtered. In order to achieve an ideal result, in which the greatest possible number of fat cells remain permanently in the target tissue, it is absolutely necessary to transplant the highest possible number of living fat cells. At the same time, transplantation itself also places high demands on the technical skills of the surgeon. The cells are now gradually implanted around the silicone implant to fill all the ’empty spaces’ around the inserted implant and achieve a natural appearance. Ensuring a correspondingly good blood supply to the transplanted fat cells. This procedure not only ensures that an autologous fat transplant can be carried out successfully, but also significantly reduces the risk of oil cysts or scarring.
Comparing the two procedures in a large number of patients, two main differences can be observed. There is certainly no other procedure to achieve a visually appealing and clearly visible enlargement of the breast as quickly and sustainably as with a silicone implant. Especially for slim patients, or with appropriate implant sizes, our new technique can achieve a further significant improvement. Breast augmentation by autologous fat transplantation leads to an completely natural optical result, although in most cases only an enlargement of about 1 cup size can be achieved. In addition, the crucial factor to the duration of the treatment success depends on the patient’s lifestyle and genetic disposition, such as nutrition, connective tissue weakness, etc. Through the innovative and new procedure of combining a silicone implant and autologous fat transplantation in the form of ‘enveloping’ the implant in a layer of transplanted autologous fat, we have not only succeeded in achieving an aesthetically high-quality result through a more natural breast appearance, but have also been able to maintain this result for the patient in the long term.
In addition to the fact that hybrid augmentation provides completely natural looking breast enlargement, patients also benefit from the removal of stubborn fat deposits in problem areas such as the abdomen or legs by liposuction. Since the breast enlargement and liposuction are performed in one session, the patient is not exposed to a lot of anaesthesia. If you are interested in a hybrid breast enlargement, we are available for a comprehensive consultation in our clinic in Dahlem, Berlin. At the consultation, we can also work together with you on an individual operation planning using a so-called 3D simulation model, in which the desired operation results can be simulated using a 3D model of your body.
Costs
We cannot give a general answer to this question. Generally speaking, high quality implants are more expensive than lower quality cheap ones, but you should never cut back on the quality of your implants! This is because silicone implants of poor quality can cause serious complications, which in turn make a follow-up operation necessary. The costs for the replacement of the breast implants or the removal of the implants can then also be higher than for a ‘normal’ breast enlargement. Learn more about breast augmentation costs here.
